Walking in the Rain

Deep indigo and cobalt dominate this composition, with vertical brushstrokes suggesting downward movement of rain or emotion. Yellows and warm greens pierce the darkness at center, suggesting light breaking through storm clouds or memory illuminating shadow. The work feels lived rather than observed, emotion embodied in gestural mark-making. Visible brushwork creates kinetic energy, as if the surface itself contains movement and atmospheric pressure. The composition radiates introspection and emotional turbulence, celebrating those moments when weather mirrors inner states. This abstract meditation invokes the psychological experience of precipitation and solitude, suggesting that storms pass and light persists, that movement through difficulty contains its own quiet beauty.
